Our Carp is special !

It's perfect taste is the result of the small stream, which has cold and good water quality all the year through, along with the breeding and nursing technologies.
This blood line is the result of more than 20 years of artificial selection. We selected them for the perfect shape and for the biggest growth factor. With this technology we can produce carp, which can be fished after two years of nursing. In this way, this fish harvested in the early life stages, has young muscles without fat.
During the nursing we use feed as natural as possible. One of the best forage we are using is nutmeat, which gives the great consistency and taste of the fish. The meat of this carp is perfect for the traditional Hungarian fish soup, what you definitely have to taste when you will be here.

 

Possibilities for angling

Pond with giant fish (for fishers, who are using boilies) - "Catch and release" fishing. One of our pond is stocked with big carps and European catfish to suffice growing demand for catch and release sport fishing. In this lake we stocked fish in the size of 15-30 kg. We provide tenet places and showering options for our quests.

Further fishing options

We try to suffice many demands of our angler questes. We keep different fish species in separated lakes in the order to have the possibility to use different type of fishing methodologies for the aimed fish species.

The biggest angling lake is 4 hectares and stocked mainly with carp. We stock this lake in a very high density in case of good catch. We continuously supply the fish back if the stocking density is getting low. In this lake we also stock pike-perch and other cyprinids beside carp. (Bream, Prussian carp)
Of course the high stocking density is not a guarantee for the good catch, as the fish in our lake are also exposed to changing weather conditions and natural oxygen saturations. Even though we hope our guests will be satisfied when they leave.
You can fish from the shore or venture out on a boat, which is available for rent at the lake. Feel free to use any type of fishing methodology, but be careful, because the southern part of the lake is full with obstacles.
There are two other smaller lakes for fishing:
One of them is called “Catfish Lake”. It’s mainly stocked with European catfish, African catfish (during the summer) and Pike.
The other one is stocked with grass carp.
